Okayama Castle

Reira Runford 2019-10-12     Comment Closed     Notes

I visited the Okayama castle last May when I went back my home town, Okayama.
As I remember, it was the first time to visit there while I visited KORAKUEN about 8 years ago with my son when he was only a baby.
Okayama castle has a nickname, UJO. “U” stands for a “CROW”. “JO” stands for a “Castle”.
Okayama castle has a black wall and it makes people call the castle “UJO”.
May is the best time to visit the castle with cool air and clear sunshine.
If you have a chance to visit OKAYAMA, I strongly suggest you visit OKAYAMA Castle.

I’m sure you’ll feel the history and warm and friendly aura around the castle and KORAKUEN garden.
